Third Generation iPhone

iPhone 3G S Sucks

Third Generation iPhone

Is the new iPhone 3G S worth all the hype? Wait a minute… Was there hype?… With a compass, voice command control and not to mention an extra ‘S’ as the main features -  it does not make it the next generation of iPhone. The new features of iPhone 3G S are the features that Jailbroken iPhone 2G had for years.

Apple call ‘Video Recording‘ a new feature? You gotta be kidding me…

A compass? Too Late, Steve Irwin’s dead.

and Voice Command Control?

This is a feature that Windows Vista had for years, and sorry Apple but, voice recognition fails!

Hopefully Apple will come up with something new… I think Apple iPhone 3G S might be the last Apple’s Multi Touch Phone, since the guys at Microsoft is working on something new called Air Touch Technology.

Apple gotta move fast or will Microsoft finally be cool again…

What does Project Natal, and Xbox concept that while cool, is probably being way overhyped, have to do at all with the iPhone? For that matter, when did you hear anyone say the 3GS was the “next generation” of iPhone? Yes, it’s new, but no, it’s not the next generation. However, the compass provides for several new things, and coupled with the video being provided to apps, allows for augmented reality apps. Google “augmented reality iphone app” and look what can be done. I dare you. Yes, voice command control and voice recording aren’t new, and probably should have been included in iPhone OS 1.0, but with all the new technology and ability for anyone with a computer and $100 for the SDK to make specialized apps with crazy amounts of originality, you can’t really yell at Apple for it. Also, do you really think that Microsoft is ever going to be a real competitor in the phone biz? They don’t even have a phone. Go read some blogs, look at some new technologies currently for sale, and then tell me that Apple’s iPhone “sucks.”

Fantastic feedback from Phoric. Well first of all, the idea of this post if just to tell you the possible new way of integrating with computers or even mobile phones. What we can see in project natal is not just motion censor controller but what I’d call the “Air-Touch technology” which would be totally cool if integrated with small devices like mp3 players and mobile phones.

And anyway, I’d take a look at 3G S and possibly make another review on it but as far as I concern people been trash talkin bout it, probably because of the battery and overheat issues.

Dude your an idiot. Ok not next generation but alot better and twice ad fast except for Internet because AT&T goes only so fast. An battery and overheating issues WTF are you talking about iPhone 3g gets WAY hotter than the 3gs. Accualy the old one alarmed me before but never enough to stop playing the game while listening to my iPod. So the 3gs has never got hot on me unlike the 3g but you say it like it was an issue. No it’s not an issue it just got noticably hot to the touch. That is all. You all just hate on AT&T and apple because you can’t afford the best. So you try to belittle the best.

Everyone has their own point of view on this phone. But for me, this is the 2nd best phone compared to others. A lot need to be improved in this phone, even though it has cutting-edge system in it.

Still deciding whether to adopt one or not.
