Maxis: Too Late?

Maxis is Too Late for the iPhone 3G

Maxis: Too Late?

iPhone buzz has been going around for about couple of years now. I still remember when I talked about the new upcoming iPhone with my friends, and nobody cared. Until now it is actually here in Malaysia; almost everybody called me asking for cheap iPhones (I used to sell iPhones on auction sites)

The Revolutionary Mobile Phone Might Not Be Able To Suit Your Needs

iPhone is a revolutionary mobile phone. It is extremely innovative thus it does not allow you to do the following:

  • 3G means connection; you can’t do 3G video calls on iPhone 3G.
  • Music sharing is not possible. You can’t bluetooth your mp3 files / songs to other phones
  • Currently it does not support MMS
  • Camera does not support flash
  • Battery is not replaceable
  • Speaker’s volume is not loud enough

If you ask me, I don’t have any problems with the iPhone since I do not share my music, I buy them via iTunes; and I don’t do 3G video calls.

Should you buy an iPhone 3G?

Is it okay to buy the new (not-so-new) iPhone? Well to answer that, if you are new to this iPhone thing and get too excited and all you should probably get one. However for those who already owned an iPhone 2G and thinking about upgrading to 3g – don’t. Instead you should wait for the iPhone 4G since there have been massive rumors going around on the fourth generation of Apple iPhone. iPhone 3.0 software update is coming, and so is the new iPhone. It has been a while since Apple release a new iPhone and the rumors are most likely to be true.

The New iPhone 4G is said to have even faster internet connection and an OLED screen which could improve iPhone’s battery life.
