Some gamers are just that desperate. They don’t want to pay for the special guide; but prefer the Towel Trick instead.

This is a short tutorial on how to do the towel trick. You’ve been warned that Towel Trick is a temporary fix and might void your Xbox warranty.

Things To Consider:

1. Tower Trick works, but keep in mind that in certain conditions it might be able to **** up your Xbox.
2. Keep in mind that your Xbox might still be under warranty. If it is; try calling Microsoft for a better solution.
3. Make sure your Xbox CD drive is empty, and your Xbox Hard Drive is removed.

STEP by STEP guide:

1. Unplug the A/V cable, or if you use HDMI, unplug the HDMI cable.
2. Remove Hard Drive and Turn on Your Xbox
3. Wrap tightly with first tower; repeat with others.
4. Wait about twenty minutes. Stay close by your Xbox, if in case the Xbox shut off, turn it back on. The idea is to get it warm. (Maybe you’ve heard about this on other forums; the idea of this trick is to actually cook your Xbox 360)
5. Unwrap the Xbox and turn off the power. Let it cool down which should take around ten to twenty minutes; turn it back on and enjoy your fixed Xbox 360.
