Not Just A Search Engine

It’s official, It’s Bing! Microsoft’s formerly known Live Search is now called Bing. So what’s Bing? It’s not just a search engine, it is a decision engine. (Full features are only available in the United States currently) so if you’re trying Bing from somewhere outside the U.S you might as well get the same stuff you’re getting from Google.

Why Bing? According to Microsoft they wanted a new name for search, and they want you instead of ‘searching the web’ you would be ‘binging the web’ (seriously they got this idea from Google) For those of you who support Microsoft make sure the next time you wanna search Bing for something, use Bing instead of other search engines. I mean that’s the life at University you have to do lots of Research ReBing.

So why is Bing matters? Most people claimed that it searches for the web better than any other search engines. The results are more organized and you can quickly get to whatever you’re searching for. Results are organized in categories, so instead of showing you millions of results from the World Wide Web (WWW) it categorized these web pages into categories which is very clever.
