It seems like Google has a lot of wonderful updates in the bag just before the Christmas, as after the announcement of latest OS update Android 5.0 Lollipop, the U.S. tech giant is bringing another update to Gmail and will be available on the Google Play Store from today. The redesigned Gmail 5.0 is likely to be fast, more secure than ever and light weight for better functionality. The Initial sneak peak of the newly built Gmail 5.0 at the Google I/O and the leaked pictures of this new mail system brewed up the speculation for several months. However, the update for existing systems will be available as we write this report, but interestingly the Gmail 5.0 app was available for download in the APK format in the Play Store from yesterday.

The Gmail 5.0 thrives with fresh material design and upgraded plug-ins. Apart from the outlook upgrades, this new Gmail is likely to offer Exchange facility among mailboxes to share mail contents and users will be able to add different mailboxes such as Yahoo, RediffMail, AOL etc. The new Gmail App for Android is having a round compose button at the bottom of the screen, a new send button and also modified looks of contacts and accounts menu. In short, it comes up with all the essential features in order to benefit the users in all possible ways.

According to an official reply from the company, the newly designed Gmail app will sport a new reply button on every mail screen to enable the user to reply fast and swiftly. This Gmail update is for Android OS and will support all devices running on Android 4.0+. Another major advancement in this update is the auto updating facility, which will update the email thread instantly when a reply is received.

According to the market experts, Google is trying to keep themselves up in the IT market race by bringing more advanced plug-ins and updated software versions. With having Google updating the Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft constantly updated the mailboxes for better functionality and increased user experience.
