Today, we’re gonna talk about the solutions to Hertz Web Solutions. Let me ask you a question, which is more important CLIENT or PROFIT? I say CLIENTS, clients are supporters. Sure sometimes they can be annoying when it comes to what we call “support” but one thing that we (both UNS & JINXBOX ENT.) never do is attacking our clients. We never attack our clients.
Today, this is quite unbelivable. Very Unbelivable… I got this message from HWS hosting
As your invoice is overdue and we have received no communication from you we will be suspending your VPS within 24 hours, and terminating the VPS within 72 hours if payment is not received. We have not received a cancellation request for your account, if you wish to cancel you must give 7 days notice prior to your next due invoice as per our terms of service.

Sent by Richard Myers. I know this guy; I think this is the guy I met way back in DigitalPoint forums but anyway back to the story. Well, it is overdue but not really; its kind of my bad that I forgot to tell them that nadzrulDOTcom was migrating to another server. I didn’t want them to wait for 72hours to close my account so I opened a ticket and kindly tell them to immediately deactivate and terminate my server. Here’s how it goes:

| I understand that you’re saying according to the TOS I was supposed to inform 7 days earlier before any account cancellation. The thing is, my account is an unmanaged account THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOS, I’ve been trying to get the heck out of here about 2 months ago. I opened tickets asking if they can help me migrating to another server, I even told them if I’m willing to pay for the charges for a migration service cuz I needed migration service. And the reply was “Sorry, your account is unmanaged and we can’t help you”So now, I’ve migrated everything myself and you’re free to close my account.Not to mention I’ve got this email:

| All accounts are covered under our Terms of Service. Managed, Unmanaged, Semi-Managed – All covered by our ToS.Unmanaged refers to your status in terms of product support, ie support tickets and telephone based support. It means you are not entitled to submit tickets relating to client issues or software issues on your VPS. It has nothing to do with your cancellation period.If you are unwilling to pay, as per the terms of service agreement, this will be passed to our solicitors for further action. | |

| Please understand your VPS is UNMANAGED therefore our technicians wouldn’t transfer accounts for you. Only MANAGED clients are entitled to this, you do not have a managed server therefore can’t expect to receive support. If a Managed service was needed you could have contacted us to request a quote, however you haven’t at any point.We send out termination notices by default, payments are still pursued until received.Our solicitors prepare all legal documentation to be sent to a collections agency.
I’ve informed them of this case and they will begin necessary action. Regards, |

| When I tell them that I needed my hosting to be transferred, if they are smart people they will recommend me the managed server and ask me to request a quote, but now they did not.here’s another history:Posted: 24/09/2008 17:08 I’m afraid we will be cancelling. | Our terms of service have been in action since May 2007. We recently updated them to include a Privacy Policy with regards to the handling of sensitive data, all clients where notified via email of this, as we are entitled to. All orders are required to read the terms of service then tick the check box to show that you have read, understand and agree to the terms of service. Orders are automatically rejected if the check box is left unticked, therefore it is not our problem if you did not read the terms of service.http://hwshosting.net/terms.html – You can see the date we revised the terms of service, and a copy of the email sent to your address on file:”Dear Client,
I am writing to inform you that today we have updated our Terms of Service. We have included a Privacy Policy & Acceptable Usage Policy and also clarified a number of points within our previous Terms of Service. Kind Regards, You did indeed submit a ticket wishing to cancel. However: “28/09/2008 19:16 cheers; I delayed your invoice, you then paid it and continued to be hosted with us. Yes I did reply to your ticket and I apologise for not being able to read your mind, I’ll work on that ability in the future. We don’t push services on our clients unless it is needed, if a client obviously needs a RAM or Bandwidth upgrade we will notify them with our recommendation. With regards to Managed and Unmanaged services a client who chooses an Unmanaged service is more than capable of knowing whether or not they need to be requesting extra help. It appears to me you wanted the lower price of an Unmanaged VPS but at the same time you wanted to be supported. You evidently expected us to simply let you off with the outstanding fees, yes? I am very lenient, so are my sales and account representatives however when a client fails to contact us in any way (as you did) and just expects to get away with it we do follow our terms of service with full force. My solicitors expect this to be dealt with over the next 30 days, I’ve been informed a collections fee will also be charged to your invoice for this. Regards, |

It depends on how you look at it. If you are a total business geek you’d probably say “its Nadzrul’s fault” he didn’t read the Terms of Service (TOS).
But look, Solicitors ??? $30 ???
Losing $30 didn’t hurt me at all, that is like having a lunch with my mates at the Mall. Richard Myers must be totally cheap. If you don’t know what cheap is, take a look at MR. KRAB:
That’s Richard Myers. And that is Hertz Web Solutions. So if you are starting an online business and trying to find a hosting. Get something else, I would recommend GoDaddy or BlueHost. Don’t go for cheap web hosting like Hertz Web Solutions. They are cheap… I didn’t mean good cheap., I meant cheapee crappy crab crap…
Next time you search on google search for “Cheap & Reliable Web Hosting” that way it will exclude HWS hosting from the results and you’ll be safe.

Wow.. Always read ToS’s. Number one thing. I’ve gotten into a lot of trouble because I didn’t read a host’s ToS and had to pay for a whole year. Simple, I paid it. I think you went to far with this, mate.
