Online TV?

It is amazing how software can do these days. The Apple iPhone for example, it has changed the way mobile phones work. Hardware – full of software and that is how Online TV software works. It is amazing software that holds thousands of Television Channels.

Previously you will have to buy a hardware called TV box to watch TV on your PC, but not anymore. With just as simple as ‘Software’; Satellite TV for PC allows you to watch thousands of channels provided by TV Stations from all over the world. Now you can watch TV without borders, watch Asian Disney Channel even when you’re in the United States.

The software works pretty simple. Once installed on your PC, it will allow you to stream worldwide TV stations. You can browse through different categories or search for your favorite TV channel within the software.

Online TV is a great option for people who are working overseas and wouldn’t be able to watch local news. You can now stream your local television from your own country live in Real-time speed anywhere you go as long as there’s an internet connection. It will save you a lot of money as it is considerably 30-90% cheaper than any Cable Television Services.

So how do you watch TV shows online? There’s this free site called Hulu (www.hulu.com), where you can watch your favorite TV shows like Family Guy, CSI, and even Ugly Betty for free. It is pretty convenient to watch TV shows there, the site has really nice user interface, you can browse TV shows easily and who knows you might find something new and cool to watch.

However, there are some limitations. It’s only working in the United States for now, if you don’t live in the U.S you’d see something like this:

Another way to watch TV online is via Satellite TV. However certain software is required if you want to get Satellite TV running on your computer or laptop. One of the most notable software is called Satellite TV for PC which is about $30-$100 depending on the version of the software. What’s really cool about it is that you can watch Live TV Channels from various countries and not just in the United States. Meaning that you can even watch Disney Channel U.S. even if you’re in Asia, or you can watch Asian Disney Channel while in the U.S.
